I beat it, but you'll have to board the boat a day later; I dropped 10 fairies into the mine and then picked them up. You can drop some fairies into the mine in advance to avoid stretching the pleasure of boarding the boat by an extra day.

Just like in Xiedu, they’ll let us play as Necropolis here. And even though playing as Necropolis in normal conditions is cheating :) on this map it apparently won’t give any advantage at all :)

Considering the fact that we’re buying vampire lords from the towns, it’s quite an advantage. But the battles will be worthy of it. As for the Cloak of the Undead King, it’s completely useless here. I turned it in right away for the quest to free Gunnar.
