So, for HotA, the HW rules functionality is integrated into HD. Control is allowed on S and M maps. GM restructuring is always enabled. Crash when restructuring GM in a dungeon has been fixed. Campaign heroes appearing in taverns and prisons has been fixed. The checkbox to enable/disable tournament rules has been moved to "More options..." At 200% difficulty, +2500 gold and +5 ore at the start are only available when the "Tournament rules" option is enabled. You cannot select a hero for the computer on the mirror map.
You will not be able to continue playing games from earlier HD+HW rules versions on the new version.
