Necromancy is essential for 40% of all Necropolis strategies. Without it, it's impossible. But in battle, necromancy doesn't deal much damage... although Dark Magic can weaken troops quite well, but still, this race isn't the strongest in battle.

Indeed, in the current battle, necromancy doesn't deal any damage – it deals damage in the next battle. The strength of Necromancer soldiers lies in their numbers and in the hero's spells. And Dark Magic can not only weaken troops quite well, but very well indeed. And if a Phoenix helps too...
