First week I put ducks and guards in the Citadel, then quickly took Medusae, Dragon Fly Hive, and level 2 Griffin Conservatory. And broke into the opponent's adjacent zone. With a cavalry charge I captured 3 of his Barbarian castles. Then I could have gone in for the kill, but I was somehow afraid of the opponent's stats. And in vain. I ran to get Dragon Fly Hives and Nagas to rebuild birds and upgrade ducks. Then I made a blunder, losing Tyrax on the bracers with all artifacts. Thankfully Bron was a reserve with expert Earth. I upgraded ducks, bought birds and upgraded them, and went to take the opponent's last castle. He ran around and decided to break through somewhere other than where my main was. But I ferried everything over with chains and gave the final [hit] to Crag, who was 2 turns short of reaching the castle. Stats are stats, but 56 gr ducks and resistances against oil explained to the opponent what's what.
