In my opinion, I'm not fundamentally against a paid connection; it's just frustrating that they're pouring all their resources into HotA, turning down money (they were offered, and everyone knows it), and promoting it on the forum as much as possible (now look at who's there; it would be a sin not to charge them), but when it comes to SOD, our old favorite, they're suddenly only doing it for money. I'm offended, not just disappointed.

And then remind me what you've done to develop SOD.
