All would be fine, but in the first game I messed up with the comps. First I went into a 20 Dwarf Cottage, lost five Elves to morale and a fair number of Centaurs. Then the swamp faction holed up in a Castle with 20 Lizardmen, fifty Gnolls, and 2 Wyverns. Not only did they humble Dessa, but I even had to run away on turn 1. Start of the second game, no money and no army. Scraped together somehow, even built a second Griffin Conservatory by the end of the week. On day 131, Dessa and the Necromancer headed into two treasure zones simultaneously. The first one is worthless—all water, experience potions, artifacts. But no Griffin Conservatory, no Hives, no Dragon Utopias. The Necromancer fought through 48 Aplishes and reached a small village. The Hat is visible for the entire fifth month. A couple of Hives. A Dragon Utopia. On the 5th or 6th try I get Town Portal and, combined with the Hat, manage to gather 80 Wyverns. After that, I just waited for the opponent to show up so I could finish them off for sure.
