I looked at the source code of the HoMM (Heroes of Might and Magic) assembly language mod.
If I had it at the start of development, it might not have sped up the development process, but rather slowed it down. Because I went my own way from the basic idea, and now I see that the path of the assembly language mod is not promising.
I just remembered how much work has been done. If I had known exactly what and how much I had to do at the beginning, I might have been scared by the amount of work and given up on the idea.

You could also create a system for playing for money: a person donates on the website, gold is displayed; gold is taken from both, the winner takes the gold, which can be exchanged for money, and 5% of the gold goes to the website.
I like the idea, but it will never be implemented.
Here, either a reliable automatic judging system is needed, but even that won't happen. For a reliable automatic judging system, there must be a complete absence of verbal rules, reliable protection against ArtMoney and similar programs, and reliable software-based intelligent determination of the winner in an unfinished game.
Or the stakes and their amount must allow for paying a judge's salary, which also won't happen.

I hope to launch the server in a demo (free) mode in a month or two.
But in general, I have serious doubts about the success of the project, especially since similar functionality for HoMM will be free, and I technically won't be able to make a subscription for SoD (Sword of Destiny) cheap.
