The sleep schedule is constantly disrupted. Interestingly, when I'm in a very bad mood, after crying for half an hour, I fall asleep quite quickly. But when my mood is neutral or, miraculously, positive, I can't fall asleep for hours. It seems my body has become so unaccustomed to a normal state that it wants to prolong it as much as possible so that I can do something supposedly useful.
It's a common occurrence. Negative emotions exhaust you and drive you towards sleep, while positive emotions keep swirling in your head and prevent you from relaxing. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
