I have the following suggestion. Since the rules allow for one re-roll with a complete regeneration, everyone immediately chooses three maps to avoid complications. Consequently, you can look at the pairings, and if the first pairing doesn't suit you, but the second and third pairings do, you can take a re-roll with a high probability, even if the odds are even. To prevent this, I suggest choosing one map at a time, without knowing who will be in the second and third pairings (you can check this by the generation time). In other words, a player should only take a re-roll if they really don't want to play that particular matchup. You can, of course, choose three maps at once; there's also some interest in that, but since the tournament is random, the first option is better:smile01:
