Despite all this, he is a rather tragic character with his own internal conflict (well, of course - serving guys who supposedly pursue noble goals, but have a rather peculiar plan for humanity).

I like him because he uses his head to live freely, happily, and for his own benefit. And because he's not ashamed to learn everything that might be useful for this. I remember, he started in childhood with locksmithing, but he didn't stop there.
