HoMM3 HD is a mod (add-on) for the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

On the following maps from the Complete Collection, the option to save each day does not work; it is unclear why this is happening specifically on these maps and what the pattern is:

Tovar's Fortress
Dragon Pass
Kingdom for Sale
Land of Titans
Thousand Isles

It seems that it can be easily fixed by simply removing the commands from the version of these maps with allies.
