Is it necessary to get involved in this battle? When I played this map, I didn't even have that problem.

Thank you for your answer. This is the famous (?) walkthrough by Lady Sobchak. There are videos for each day, and there's something for newcomers like me to learn. Most of the tasks are within my capabilities, but I got stuck on this one.
So, if you're playing for fun, of course, you can avoid it, but I want to understand how the pros think. Since the walkthrough was successful back in those days, the battle should be reproducible within 25 attempts. That means there must be a strategy.

But if the wisdom of the ages is irrevocably lost, maybe you could share your walkthrough?
