How role-playing appropriate is it to stuff your character with curry before every battle? I'm interested in your opinion.
The question isn't about that. What surprises me is that other issues are very often resolved through metagaming (like eating curry, lol; and as long as it doesn't go beyond certain limits, I don't really have a problem with it). But here, when all the information is right in front of you – the character isn't involved in the crime, the character is obviously very strong, plus the entire environment discourages getting involved with this quest because it arose as a result of completely different factors (it shouldn't have existed in the first place), and the chances of successfully completing it are not very high – refusing it/ignoring it turns out not to be role-playing appropriate.
