Well, you have Lightning and all the other spells anyway. Enhancers might be more useful because you can connect/disconnect them on the fly if needed. But overall, I don't think there's much of a difference.

Setting up enhancers doesn't seem that expensive, and Lightning won't be unnecessary. Well, that's just my opinion. Maybe the teacher at the local Academy can offer you something else, so the choice might be even wider.
