There was only one road through the medusas into the underground, so I had to clear the respawn instead of going to the computer. I got completely shafted with the wood mine, things were tough... there were 3 Griffin Conservatories from the respawn, I took them all on day 123 and rushed along the path to break through everything, built the 5th Mage Guild with Teleportation by day 135. I took two Dragon Utopias with crappy stats. While I was rebuilding the Mage Guild 4 times (for Town Portal), my opponent amassed cosmic stats 25 31 19 18, so I decided to take a risk and go capture his towns. On the first two jumps I found the opponent sitting in his castle, attacked hoping he had no mana, everything worked out fortunately, the magic carried me... Thanks to the opponent for the game.
