I'm not going to put player characters in a bad spot (unless it's a last resort, like a mass attack by Kirishima's priestesses), so I can join. But we need to meet and become friends somehow.

Well, I'm standing in Morpheus, waving the contract in front of my aunt's face, waiting for her to tell me who to go to. If you end up going on this quest, play out whatever you want and then come by, and that will be our introduction.
Just in time, Heroist might show up and give an answer, whether he's going with us or not. There's also Silver with charisma, but he's not defined, and I'm not sure if he'd be into roleplaying chasing after underage humanoids.
