The mechanism behind Enhancers is based on Eastern acupuncture, practiced in the Celestial Empire. The wise men and warriors there spend years studying the laws of the universe and the potential of their own bodies. Using techniques from ancient martial arts, they open the meridians of their bodies to unlock their hidden potential.
Reimford Corporation's Enhancers serve a similar purpose, but unlike meditation and various exercises, they open the meridians forcibly, without any effort on the part of the user.

Today, Reimford Corporation divides meridians into 9 types: neutrality, nature, fire, water, air, earth, light, darkness, and time. The type of meridians is determined by nature and, naturally, cannot be changed in any way. Thus, the set of enhancers that can be used is determined by nature.

Statistical data based on the results of compatibility testing of two thousand people shows the following probabilities of having a particular type of meridian:

Enhancers are a high-tech device that resembles a large wristwatch. The Enhancer's contacts are inserted under the skin and interact directly with the human body. Only a specialist can configure the Enhancer (connect/change enhancers).
