At turn 124, I was almost killed by lightning, but my opponent didn't have enough gold to buy 200 skeletons, and they couldn't catch up with anyone, so I just had to run away. Then we spent a month recovering, and I had more success.

In the excitement of almost securing the victory, I forgot that I might not be able to catch up with skeletons and would have to run away. I also wasted 14 mana before the final battle to raise 30 skeletons while breaking through the pegasus formation, and that mana wasn't enough in the final battle.
