I was close to the village that the opponent had captured. I saw he had Town Portal and feared control, so accordingly, I gathered everything I saw near the castles and then portaled back to town. After that, I finally upgraded Dimension Door, captured his village and the tavern next to it, but failed to realize he could reach the tavern via chains (strategic jail helped). He spent the night there, and the opponent attacked. I had half my mana, he had full, so accordingly, he won. If I had a bit more mana, it wouldn't have been so straightforward. In terms of one-unit losses, both were in crisis and fought with their native troops and a few angels for flair.
