The opp decided to take advantage of the regulation clause regarding the optional nature of rebuilding, so I think at least one extra week was needed to realize the advantage. There was no control on the map (except for wings from the Dragon Utopia; both had them, but it was difficult to cover with only wings).
Already at the beginning of the second week, I took a decent chunk on both planes, which gave me approximately +30 extra cyclops. Everything else was roughly equal. And until the end of the game, I simply tried to play without mistakes, gradually tightening the stranglehold on the "enemy's" neck. I also managed to win the border war, gradually squeezing almost all the cities away from the opp. And finally, when I managed to catch Genova while they were speeding up, and by equipping the Red Ball and AoTD, immediately kill almost all the angels, Puzzzo decided to surrender.
