Well, they were left on the chair. Let Menti finish writing it.
Personally, I liked the palace. But maybe that's because I was useful and survived))
The atmosphere of despair, the building horror, cool design. The main problem was only how we got stuck in the first room. Considering what we had already seen, and the fact that this is Revan's expa, I simply *didn't want* to try and solve the puzzle. Do something wrong (or right, in a certain place) - you die or end up disabled. And without trial and error, you could sit and guess for the whole week. Then the gentlemen started making faces at the disposal of Alex and the NPCs, sat on the floor, hugged their knees and rocked back and forth; that was total crap, but here the fault isn't with the design itself. Fortunately, this period was eventually passed with the help of
The number of corridors was slightly disorienting, that's true, but by then we were moving relatively briskly, and the general design was quite decent, in my opinion. Various wings, rooms, bosses, themes—a purely atmospheric dungeon.
Ples complained about abuses and imbalance, but he just wasn't in our party. Personally, I felt danger every minute, behind every corner and door. The way we gradually died off from a dozen people down to five, and then to three, added some epicness and speaks for itself. I really wanted us to win on the last bits of HP, and that's exactly how it happened. The fact that there were many useful items in the dungeon was also offset by the Revan-expa nature; you can add that as a plus to the atmosphere. And "balance" has never been the main feature of expas—either you were lucky enough to create a strong character and they ended up in the right quest at the right time, or not, and you ripped like an idiot. I've been on both sides; this time I got lucky.
In short, some moments could have been worked out differently in terms of gameplay, mainly regarding the puzzle, but the rest is quite decent.
