What you quoted is precisely the "aggressive stance that doesn't allow for a constructive conversation." What did you expect?
What kind of stance should there be towards a person who is told by everyone that their new addition is worse than the existing problem, if there is one. But who still dismisses everyone and leaves this rule in place, but then says, "Okay, suggest ways to improve it, but for now, it will be this way." Why?????????? Why change the rules, which is not very normal in the middle of a tournament, to exacerbate the problem? And still insist on their point, not acknowledging that they rushed and should have tried to refine their change first. What did you expect, I wonder? That everyone would just accept it? P.S. And you still haven't bothered to respond to the examples from my message about the "aggressive stance."
