We take the saves from the first day of the week and see where something has increased that doesn't follow the pattern... :) In the worst case, you can always ask the leader... This is quite feasible when the game doesn't last long - as in our case... Of course, if you spend five months on a map (let's remember War of the Worlds), it becomes much more difficult to check these points. But on such maps, there is no ban on a monster for a week - this is not critical when a couple of thousand vampires join you... :) It's a different story when playing for experience or for skeletons - when you can generate a turn transition so that a bunch of neutral centaurs appear all over the map. Go and defeat them, collect skeletons for free, or gain experience... That's why we specify it.
I think that's why online players don't like playing offline - there are too many restrictions here for them. But without them, it's impossible... The theory of probability harms offline play, unlike online play, where the random drop of morale can allow you to win the game. This doesn't happen in offline mode.
But on the other hand, even if we ignore this rule, but don't buy units that have arrived beyond the limit - there are no problems, you'll agree. The most important thing is not to then grind +5 creature development on experience at the altar... That's where the violation would be... ;)
