Just don't whine about unfairness.

If anything, there's always the option of dying from hunger and thirst in the very first room. That alone is a good enough reason to play the game.

The main thing is not to have a hand cut off. We need both hands for the Emperor.

I think that's where the problem will lie. Or you'll have to cut off a hand, or poison/acid will be injected into it, and the character will be eliminated either way. So don't count on an easy outcome.
