P.S.: I really love it when they start discussing the rules closer to the final rounds. Not after the tournament with an eye toward the future, and not before the tournament begins, but right in the middle.

From the participants' point of view, this is the best time to discuss it. Between tournaments, no one cares. But now, in practice, we can see what consequences one or another decision leads to. C'est la vie.

The rules and criteria for determining the winners will not change.

So, there's no need to change them for this tournament. The organizer's task is to make notes on new ideas and take them into account for the next one, or at least think about them/create a discussion between tournaments (if something significant happened). Nothing more.
