It's not the fact that Vitaly refuses to stream that seems strange to me. Whether to stream or not is a personal matter. And Professor Preobrazhensky would simply say: "I don't want to." But. There's an underlying hint at arguments. And the reasoning seems to be at the level of: "Someone is saying something bad about me, and someone is spoiling things." How to deal with the latter phenomenon – and it does exist in streams, unfortunately, although not often – I have already indicated: with the help of responsive moderators and a mutual agreement among players not to read the chat.
But online gaming is not immune to the possibility of rule violations (and neither is offline gaming). And the factor of trust, which has been discussed so many times, is key. If you don't trust your opponent, don't play.
It's just that Vitaly's posts create the impression that someone has offended him ("there definitely won't be people there who will say something bad about me")...
