Reimian Empire

Kurat (plural: kurats, kurady) is a derogatory nickname for Estonians. It was given to them by Russians living in Estonia.

It comes from the most common Estonian swear word, “kurat” (literally, “devil”), and its declension, “kuradi,” which is often used in everyday speech: “see kuradi…” – this damned… (something/someone).
