I checked the map properties in the editor; it seems you can only ban neutral races, not specific types of creatures.
Okay, then there's no point in banning. But I'll have to go back to all this later when we've accumulated enough troops.
On the 1st day of the 3rd month, I managed to take the (yellow) town – they broke through the bridge, and I went to them. After that, everything seems passable, at least UNTIL THE VISIT TO THE DWARVES. It seems that the only thing that somehow bothers me (well, this is purely subjective:) ) is that I'll have to run around a lot... and somewhere above it was said
"It makes sense to maximize the upgrades in the first part, but without dragging it out"
what does it mean not to drag it out and where exactly? because when we're at the bottom, we still sit and wait for the initiative from the guys in the neighboring areas. In my case, the initiative happened at the very end of the 2nd month.
In general, that's it, I hope I explained my thought clearly, because sometimes it comes out a bit chaotic, sorry.
Personally, my wishes would be to add a mentor in our area (not very well-protected), somewhere in the middle, around the crystal, to make an abandoned mine (preferably with gold, the money will go to the mentor and then be needed for troops), so that at the start, we can unload troops there just for convenience and peace of mind, move the fountain to the bridge where the witch's hut is, and remove the sulfur mine. The balance of troops can basically be left as it is for the hero... of course, the defense of the libraries could be weakened a little, because it seems like it's not a library, but a liquor store. I think we'll have to run around there again somewhere at the end and break through with brute force... but for now, I don't feel like it. That's all for now.
And what does it mean not to drag it out with all this running around.... we'll see
As soon as I finish with the guys at the bottom, I'll write, then I'll try to replay the first 2 months once - if there are no problems, then for the hero, as it is now, UP TO THE DWARVES, you can basically leave it, including the balance of forces. I don't know about veteran, I hope it's not more difficult there)
