I completely agree. I also wanted to create classes (due to the large number of heroes), also based on this mod, or rather, its precursor. Many shortcomings don't make it worthwhile, unfortunately. And there's no need for it, since 8 classes in the game are more than enough.

I don't like the meager bonuses in the mod. Especially the absurdly weak hero specializations, which aren't really needed. The main emphasis is on starting skills, but the game is designed for the late game, so they aren't very useful either.
