A good start, an 8-hero spread, Kyrre came in. Scouting revealed 2 convenient Dragon Fly Hives, then their number increased to 5. But Kyrre caught the water. I was about to curse and switch heroes, but then I found Grindan level 1 in the prison. The plan became clear. I gave the box to Grin, started clearing 1 Dragon Fly Hive at a time with him. The flaw in the plan was that there was no well, and no way to split into the Castle either. But no matter, I carefully collected 3 Dragon Fly Hives with Grin and ran to the passage, chaining my way to collect 2 more and the Griffin Conservatory. On week 2 day 2 I broke through after taking down 2 Guardians of the Oasis from Manticores and Giants (lucky there were no Ghosts). I ran blindly to find the town, since I had no scouting view. It took me 3 days to reach it, I picked up another box for 20k gold and a max Dragon Fly Hive, and camped in the town on week 2 day 4 with 9 mana. The opponent broke the guard with a water elemental from Earth Elementals (45, as it turned out) and I thought he would attack now. But he didn't attack; instead he lured Kyrre, whom he didn't even kill. With double mana I went, took a box for 15k experience, and attacked the opponent. He threw an oil, then immediately surrendered after the retaliation strike (since he had barely any army left after the Elementals; his hope was in Bolts, which he didn't get many of off).
