"WINTER IS COMING..."

Turns 3, 4, 6. We started the third map, with Brand and Svey on my side from the beginning. My opponent had Karl and, it seemed, Inga. On day 2, they started buying a lot of dwarf heroes; I got Ibba. This seemed like a good choice for the third turn. But I was disappointed to see Erling and Inga, the Rune Master, there. The first week was very difficult – two easy portals were located in very different parts of the map. I tried to capture one portal with Irka, the cockroach – I managed to capture it on my side, but there were a lot of centaurs on the other side. I took a load (we were playing with two loads). I ran to the other portal, but I also needed to capture the turn 3 town (on the side) and the level 4 town (far away). I managed to capture all of this somehow, then I tried to capture the portal – I don't remember who was there, but it wasn't easy either, but Ingvar already had machines. And Ibba was offered machines – she took them. The first week ended – I had no money, and I hadn't bought many troops. I managed to capture the gargoyle lair and the crypt in the starting area (for the entire starting area), and I built up somehow. The logs didn't give any bonuses to Ibba or Ingvar. I somehow cleared the resource (passing troops from one to the other), and then I got my first big advantage – regeneration in the resource. It became a little easier after that, but there was another problem – I couldn't get any light. Ingvar got light at level 18, and Ibba at level 21. It became easier after that, but I stupidly lost about 20 thanes in the treasure, and regeneration didn't save me, and I didn't have resurrection (neither in the shops, nor in either of the utopias, nor in the Temple). My opponent lost 4 battles – Inga was leveling up. But I thought my situation was worse. In the end, we met, fought, and Ibba turned out to be stronger – the lion set, artifacts for initiative, and mass spells in light made the difference. Thank you for the game.
