Tell me more about Calvados Calvad. Industry, the center, all that... But why would people go there, what is there to do? Which fields are particularly in demand? Do they build rockets, organize expeditions, or maybe there are just good taverns and everyone dreams of sitting in one...

Besides the locals, many people travel to Calvad for work—they take a train from their home city's station to get there. A lot is processed and produced there, which is why there are so many jobs. This, however, has little to do with player character situations.
What is more important here is that most of the latest Remian technologies hit the market specifically in Calvad. Due to the abundance of tourists and the vast number of business meetings, the quality of service (hotels, restaurants, etc.) is also top-notch.
In general, the reason can be anything; you could even write that a character has an apartment there (but describe where it came from).
