That's why we're having this conversation, because cooperative play is inherently bad.

And it's not about how it affects the rating calculation – it just happens to be the case that your approach doesn't account for this scenario. It doesn't account for any scenario, because it's crude. Let me explain specifically – "crude" doesn't mean you're a lumberjack or that it's poorly made (mathematics can't be bad – it either exists or it doesn't), but rather that it doesn't take into account many of the nuances of tournament competition.

And the only way to find a way to neutralize the idea of cooperative play is within the Clans rating itself – I think everyone will understand this. Because the benefit here isn't for an oscillator, but for the principle of "fair play," which is more important.

So, for those who see many tactical ideas in the tournament, it's not interesting because it simplifies everything too much. And for those who might be interested in such a simple rating, the rating itself doesn't matter. A few people decided to try to create a different calculation, and they are working on it. And if, according to this calculation, you lose your first place, then that's how it will be... There's nothing you can do about it – everyone is on equal footing... So just stand aside if you don't want to help – you're just getting in the way, to be honest...
