Sultans with the Book of Fire are good under a strong Mage.

I tried to find some viable strategies, but in Heroes of Might and Magic II there are no Bolts, in Heroes of Might and Magic III there is no Anti-Magic, in Heroes of Might and Magic IV there is no Chain Lightning spell that works well against air units, and to top it all off, there's Flight in Heroes of Might and Magic V :D Thanks for the game.
