I want to recommend the map Running With The Devil
It is compared to Ringing of Victory, The Empire of the World I & II, and Vengeance is mine, and despite its release date (either 1999 or 2004), it is still interesting and challenging in a good way.
By "challenging," I mean interesting and engaging, not in the style of xiedu.

In short, we are running away from archangels as the Devil to establish a base and return for revenge.
There are many hints, a lot of text, and a storyline in English, but it's still interesting to play.
There are events that increase the AI's strength, and battles on cursed lands... it turns out that this was already being practiced in 1999 (or 2004).
The map is very good, but I'm stuck; I can't reach the key guardians because of the Archangels. I'm following the timings, but something is not right.
In any case, if anyone plays it, please let me know. Here is my last save where the game was paused: :smile21:
