We played a skirmish on full random. I kept getting Citadel (3 generated pairs out of 4). We ended up playing a Citadel-Rampart pair. Gold income was decent, Geon arrived (enough gold for 5 heroes and bears in the Citadel). On 113 I took a Necropolis village. Lucky with guards (Demons, zombies, dendroids) and on 121 I got a pandora's box with 5k experience. Mastered Earth magic, scouted the home Griffin Conservatory with a scout hero (turned out to be level 2), and on 123 I broke through into the adjacent treasure zone with a Rampart village and went to destroy the Griffin Conservatory. On 125 I took it and the opponent showed up with 21 Grand Elves, nearly a hundred Centaurs, 7 Dendroids, and 20 Dwarves. With first speed and 11 SP, Lightning killed 17 Elves. The game should have ended on that battle, but 2 rough mistakes in combat allowed the opponent to escape, killing a bear and 2 Angels, and he started using Elezar trickery. In the end, I couldn't knock the opponent out of his castle (Dwarf resistance carried it), and it dragged on until 214, when after gathering meat and 6 Liches from an external dwelling, it all ended.
