Because I'm really annoyed by such advisors. When there was a need to hold an OFB (Official Friendly Battle), none of the hosts wanted to take on the task. Artem agreed, on the condition that I would help. Okay, we decided, we launched the tournament. While registration was ongoing, the rules were written, and everyone was just clicking buttons... Halfway through the tournament, the rules were already wrong, the templates were already bad, etc. Out of these templates, I don't like 6 out of 9... Well, I am playing.

And in general:

Suggestions are late; if there is going to be a discussion, it should be before the tournament. At the same time as choosing a host, if there is a choice...

Once again, returning to this issue. It is difficult to select an adequate pool of templates so that everyone likes it. In the current reality, with the current templates, any tournament turns into OnlyXL, which many people don't like. As soon as you start diversifying the pool, complaints begin that it is impossible to reach XL. In the end, any pool boils down to the possibility of reaching XL or avoiding XL. And that's a dead end.

I would be happy to discuss the "so-called papacy of templates."
