Vik is constantly trying to achieve the "spectacle" he wants in the old-school Heroes games, forgetting that, like in chess, in blitz, the indicator of a player's skill is much lower than in classic games, and perhaps he is willing to tolerate a bunch of streamer fails for the sake of "spectacle," although, in my opinion, a beautiful game from both players is much more enjoyable than this... and in terms of "spectacle," HL games are no worse and more elegant than any Jeb games. Vik doesn't feel the mutual tension between the players and the adrenaline in their blood.
I think both game formats are quite acceptable. The ability to manage the timer effectively and perform more actions in less time is an indicator of skill. The timer is just another resource in the game.
