They just stand together near the portal and don't go anywhere :( They catch up if you try to pass. It's impossible to win against them. There's very little time left until the 7th month, and as a result, it's impossible to gather the best army. And after the 7th month, on the 4th week, I assume it will always be the week of plague, and an unreal growth of +666 dragons per day begins. Moreover, it happens right near Nicholas, not in any specific place, nor in a city.

I have repeatedly completed the entire original campaign in 1.6 with a Hero. I cannot know about the upgrade of enemy heroes. In the original, even with "Uncover Secret," you cannot see the enemy's upgrade.
