Open alpha testing of the 5.0 HD mod (online lobby).

It remains to define what constitutes an "interesting tournament." Apparently, our understanding of this concept differs significantly. I reviewed the list of regular Heroes of Might and Magic III (SoD) tournaments, and here's what I found: 1) Present in both SoD and HotA. An equivalent to SoD's "Favorites" and "OzV" exists (Prestoły). An equivalent to "Jebus Cross - N" exists, albeit in a blitz format. I'm not sure if a non-blitz version is needed. 2) Present only in SoD. OFB-FB: There's no direct equivalent, but it could be introduced if there's sufficient community demand. All Laws: There's no equivalent because it doesn't make much sense in HotA. Wars of Mages: It doesn't exist because there's no software support for it, and such modifications aren't approved by the team. Only-XL: I wouldn't suggest it; in my opinion, it's the most boring thing in Heroes. M-200: No, because playing with 3 stacks in HotA results in a significantly different gameplay experience compared to SoD. It seems we need to create a different template for this size, maybe even a mirrored one; I'm currently considering this. 3) Present only in HotA. Mirrors: It exists (it's even strange that it doesn't exist in SoD). Diamond: It exists, although this year it's in an experimental format; we'll see how it goes. And there are specialized tournaments for different factions. I don't quite understand why there's criticism of the ramp tournament; you yourselves sometimes complain that the developers don't always listen to player feedback. In this tournament, the developers decided to listen and offer one of the options for changing diplomacy, which could be implemented in HotA, so that players can try it out and provide informed feedback. The result has been more than satisfactory. 4) Irregular SoD tournaments. Excellent Company, 3 in 1, 9 Kingdoms, Path to Olympus, Charity: They are all roughly similar to OFB-FB because they are played on a wide pool of templates with standard rules. Perhaps there aren't enough of these types of tournaments? There were also the Duelist and New Year's tournaments.
