The final setup was played without rests from either side. Gosh naturally had 1 stack, roads were blocked. To open one road, I barely beat a Pandora's Box with a large horde of gr. zombies, getting 5k exp. The army was quite small, making the start difficult. I ran around, did some necromancy, and by day 5 I was somewhat rolled out.
In parallel, it turned out the respawn was very small, there was only a road to one town, but objects were present. There were 2 Dragon Fly Hives, +6 all behind sultan guards, boots for movement points, an external dwelling of horses and a couple of external dragon dwellings. Gold was a problem. Having traded at two markets, I bought horses by the end of the week, took one external dwelling of horses and one of dragons. Twice, instead of Earth, I got junk. I started the second week with stables and a box for zealots, which devoured both dragons and gave exp. Gosh finally got Earth.
Before leaving, I gathered everything possible from the respawn, found Shakles, took +6 all. Late exit in the middle of 123 through the gray-haired [creatures] with ~350 skeletons, 8 ghosts, 9 horses and a dragon on -morale. On 124 I met the opponent, by then I had 14 mana left, gathered some more ghosts and necromanced up to ~400 skeletons. Before the battle, I took a Pandora's Box for 60 lizardmen. I attacked with the Shakles. There were both Mass Slow and Mass Haste, but less meat and stats lower by about a teapot. I was afraid I'd have to retreat, since only the opponent's angels and my skeletons would remain, but it didn't happen: the opponent attacked the skeletons initially.
Thanks for the game!
