Banning anti-magic artifacts is not an experiment, but common sense. It's very strange if such an experienced player like you thinks otherwise.

There will be a sharp imbalance in favor of mages on melee units, it already exists, but now it can at least be countered with Knights and Recanters. Your Luna would have been invincible in the last game, no wonder you're in favor of banning Knights and all shooters in general.
