Unfortunately, I wouldn't say the map was balanced. The only thing that pleased me was the external dwelling for horses located a couple of days away from the Castle; having the opportunity to capture treasure chests to compensate for Kirr's retreat and capturing Legion's main base – to increase the number of elves. The road was long and miserable, spiraling, with a split into two corner villages, and access to normal zones (where my opponent successfully operated) was through one-way paths, one of which was a mile across rough terrain. As a result, I had 2 Castles, but with an Angel Portal taken in the second week - against about three Ramparts with horses belonging to my opponent and his Tazar.
In the third turn, I took two of my Dragon Utopia castles, and although Kirr failed four times, he finally captured water), in the Utopias there were sandals, red and black spheres, sandals - for stats, and that's all the joy. It is unclear how they developed. There was a Town Portal, but the fifth level upgrade did not provide either flight or Dimension Door.
Then, a well-fed Tazar arrived with the words "good Capitol, let me have some fun" :) and I just flew away with Kirr after taking the Utopias, looking for something in the blocked second zone with a village. I thought for a long time (the timer showed 45+ minutes versus zero for the blue player) whether to return and accept the battle at the Castle, with clearly superior forces and also on Tazar, or run away hoping to gain resources on the map.
I sent two Imps into my opponent as bait, and as a result, I could only kill 2 out of 3 angels.
Tazar stood near the Castle, but didn't attack the first time – he took the Cyclops lair, which was very useful for upgrades, and left to gather resources himself :smile50:
Somehow scraping together resources, sacrificing the Angel Portal in the developing village, I finally upgraded to Dimension Door on the fourth try, ran away far, but Tazar with an even larger horde of various creatures appeared again at the main castle gates, knocking on the gate.
This time, I hid again with Knight Shield and a golden bow.
A battle takes place.
The elves fought well, and with stats of 15 16, they managed to defeat Tazar 17 27.
My opponent bought off with 7 unicorns and gnomes. In the next turn, I take three castles, two of which are Ramparts. We save.
When loading, my opponent decides to surrender after all.
Thank you for the game!
(By the way, we played normally; it didn't seem like there were any serious mistakes, probably. The Knight Shield helped me a lot).
