This game isn't about ratings!
I somehow managed to come to terms with the fast roads (which my opponent set up by mistake and I didn’t notice right away).
But in vain!!! In one turn, you could run not just from one city to a nearby one, but capture two cities in a row on foot. This is already some kind of completely absurd perversion. But, however, I think this is not the limit of crazy ideas, and there is still room for further decline.
But the second surprise finished me off. It turns out that the timer was ticking even without taking a turn. I wasn't particularly good at managing the timer anyway, but it turned out that I was losing about 10 minutes each turn starting shortly after my opponent ended their turn (I was also doing household chores). All of this culminated in losing all artifacts due to the lost time when contact moves began.
A worthy continuation of my series of ridiculous defeats lately. But this is the most ridiculous one. We managed to make three mistakes in the rules of the match between us.
I hope this series of absurdities ends with this defeat.
The story continued.
