What exactly is the cheat? Oh, so they can be repaired? Why not? Or is it about the extra skills on constructs? Like morale, etc. Why not that either? Elementals should be djinns, dwarven dragons, and ents. You could try justifying a unicorn as an elemental (it's a creature of light after all).
