@Nargott,
There are two ways to adjust monster strength to your liking.
First, you can adjust the map generation settings by selecting "strong" or "very strong." This value adjusts the starting stack sizes.
If "very strong" is too much and "strong" is too little, you can fine-tune it by adjusting the H55-settings.lua file. It is located in the MM55-settings.pak file.
Besides other settings that can be adjusted, there is one parameter called: H55_NeutralStackSize, which is set to 1 by default.
It is used to multiply the default map stack size. Below that variable, there is a description of the amplitude of the value.
H55_NeutralStackSize = 1; -- Multiplier for neutral stack size standing on the adventure map (do not set to zero). Example: 1.2 = 20% more, 0.8 = 20% less.
-- GUIDELINES for tweaking the Advanced RMG monsters:
-- Strong creatures x1.58 = Halfway between Strong & very Strong.
-- Very Strong creatures x0.75 = Halfway between Strong & very Strong.
-- Very Strong x1.55 = Halfway between Very Strong and Impossible.
-- Impossible x 0.5 = Halfway between Very Strong and Impossible.

Regarding Diamond templates, could you provide a map that we can check in HOMM3 SOD?
