How can we save the "Heroes" theme?

Today, I was arguing with Luchik about spam and off-topic posts, and I guess we both stuck to our opinions. Never mind. Although spam and the like are one of the main problems of the forum, there are always two sides to the issue. Of course, all short, stupid, or simply irrelevant posts should be deleted, but should they always be? For example, there's an internal discussion related to the topic going on between two or more people. The mini-argument ends, and at the very end, one side is pointed out and proven to be correct, and a quote is provided to draw attention. The other side, understanding the point, might write a short post, simply expressing agreement. It might seem like a violation, a low-information post, but in context, it's not quite so. Because if you don't write anything at all, it's disrespectful; you've been addressed. But writing a lengthy response isn't very good either; it would just be a repetition. What am I getting at? That if you rigidly delete everything for the slightest infraction, that's not good either. It ultimately lowers the prestige of the chat. And if you delete everything left and right, then... why bother communicating at all? Let's write posts like newspaper articles, once a week. Communication consists of thoughts, and thoughts jump quickly, and you don't always catch them. So, there should be a middle ground in everything, a golden one, as they say. Regarding the current situation, I'd like to add that it's not the worst-case scenario. I primarily write in the fan forum for the fourth installment, but it's quiet there now, almost completely.
