MMH5.5 - Heroes of Might and Magic 5.5

Could someone create a patch for this mod that would make the hero flags on the global map correspond to the player's color? Even a simple revert would do, even if all three classes in each faction have the same model. I asked this question on the main mod thread in the community, and the developer said it was possible, but no one is working on it. And I don't know how to mod Heroes 5, only Heroes 3, and even then, just a little. These multicolored flags are terribly distracting from the game. It's a bit of a fly in the ointment, which is this mod.
