HotA - General Questions and Discussions

"HotA needs to be installed on Heroes of Might and Magic III SoD or Complete. The required Heroes of Might and Magic III files were not found in the selected folder, so the HotA installation is impossible."
- This message appears when installing HotA 1.3.8 setup.exe and HotA 1.4.2 setup.exe on a clean installation, a repack with HD 3.811, and a similar repack of SoD (3.1). HotA 1.3.2 setup.exe installs without problems in the same location.
