So what? If a person says they are happy, why should I necessarily delve into the reasons? I can easily believe them.
But if you're really interested, you can visit Nepal or India and ask the locals. Indian diasporas and Nepalese Gurkhas are quite common around the world, so you might not even have to travel anywhere.
